Batter up! Bases Loaded is a baseball title with an arcade look and feel and enough options from which participants can choose. Select one of 12 teams, set your batting order from the 30 participants accessible (each with unique strengths), then play an individual game or try to win the pennant. During gameplay, the screen displays two unique viewpoints: one from behind home plate as you're batting, and the other from the pitching hill in a TV-style shot (unique for its time) as your team plays in the field. Strong play command and superior artworks add to the exhilaration as you make up one's mind what delivery to throw (you can even try to provoke the opponent hitter into charging the mound), command all places on the field, or do your best to get a hit. So step to the home plate and find out why this is one of the best baseball games ever to grace the NES.
